A-Kon aftermath

Oh man.. A-kon was like... pimptastic yo. >.> Like seriously.
Okay, first off, to everyone in the ouran skit... I seriously hope to get to run into you guys again, hopefully at A-fest or something. You all were too fun. 'specially Friday night in the panel room. XD Oh man. Definitely made my entire weekend right there. Also, I just want to thank Josh for letting me be in it in the first place, despite the fact I had never seen 300... But ya see, now I have a reason. Hehe... And those brownies. Hehe, yummy. Totally sorry I didn't like see you earlier. I think I was too focused on helping our Red get water and staying cool. My brain was mush at that moment. XD I felt so dumb...

Okay, so Thursday, I had to work the pre-reg line. :3 Hope I didn't upset anyone... since loads of people seemed to dislike the staff this year. But I tried my best to smile and hand everyone's badge over with a smile and be as polite as humanly possible. Walked around for a bit then gave MoonNeko her Shinigami robes. :D I'm SOOOO glad they fit. And boo on my sewing machine for crapping out on me AGAIN before I could finish it. >.> -kicks sewing machine... and I had JUST gotten it fixed. >.> Anyway, afterwards, I got into my Vincent cosplay and like... every turn there was a picture. It was insane. And people kept asking me who made my claw and if it was professionally made. I just blinked and told them I made it and wasn't a professional. It was craft foam, and I let them squeeze it. :3 Then Skypirate wanted a different kind of Vincent Pose, so he wanted us to be as feminine as possible, so that's what me and Shaina did. :D It was fun. My boots started falling apart, so I went to change, but forgot normal clothing for Thursday night (I packed one bag for Thursday so I could leave the suitcase in the car since we would only have that room for one night) so I just put on Hanatarou and got some more pictures from Skypirate. I can't say how much I love that man... it's too much for words. He's so sweet. :33

Friday... let's see. Woke up, pretty much just put on pants, brushed teeth and headed down there... too tired to do much else. from 7-noon I was on the cash register. My voice was soar from yelling next in line. I don't think people realized I was running a cashier too. >.> I may be young, but I was standing in front of the cashier and taking money. Ah well. After wards, I got in my Kyuubi Naruto and hung out with Miles and Cindy (sorry if I spelt your names wrong O: ) they were incredibly fun! :3 Then I went to change into Haruhi for the Ouran shoot... pretty much pointless. Changed back into Naruto not even too much later, and hung out with Kat, Miles, Cindy, and Jon. Oh God... good times right there. :3 Those guys protected me. I'm too nice to say no to things, but they could tell when I didn't want to do something, so they'd politely drag me away and I thank them greatly for it. Then I had to go practice for the Ouran skit... cept I never had time to change. >.> Oh well... then afterwards pretty much just went to the room and slept.

Saturday, woke up, this time getting into my Hanatarou cosplay ran the cashier again... then time I could only take cash. And I wish they would tell us more where everything was. I felt horrible for not being able to tell people where something was. Afterwards, I went to the Bleach shoot after running into one of my buddies cosplaying Hisagi. Left a bit early cause I needed to change for the cosplay contest. Waited for everyone outside, did more stuff, waited inside at cosplay rehearsal. Performed our skit. And nearly fainted after hearing we won best skit! Oh man. that was just so very awesome! C: Hung out with the group for awhile, went up to change into my Vincent cosplay, hung out with our FF7 crew, then pretty much got tired and went back to the room.

Sunday was really laid back, my only day to go into the Dealers room. :3 Bought Death Note 9-11, and both live action movies. Also went to artist alley and bought a Cloud print from Joy. Searched for Keagan and was sad to see her booth gone. D: I wanted to buy gloves but either never had my money or never had a chance to go back by. Boo. BUT! I ran the Death Note photoshoot, and people seemed to enjoy it. I really hoped they did. It was my first time to organize and run a shoot by myself. Funny thing is, is I continually said how I just wanted to participate, not have any part in running up. I ended up running it anyway. lol. Ah well. Quite fun. And EBK/Al complimented me on a photoshoot well run, so that made me incredibly happy. :3 Then we did more stuff and left around 4.

I think that's it. O:

And if you actually read any of this. cookies for you. :3

You don't have to know how to sew to cosplay. X3 'specially for simple characters like L or other random Death note characters. ^^

I really like working at conventions. You get both a free badge AND hotel room, for a small amount of work (well.... compared to the hours of the entire convention it's pretty small). And depending on the people you work with it can be pretty fun. :D

Yosh! And I thank whoever suggested it. -laughs-

-nods- Yup! I'm going to Animefest at the end of August, and Oni-Con in Houston.
And then for 2008, I might possibly be going to Ikki, then A-Kon, Afest, and possibly Oni again...
