Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

A-Kon + Birthday stuff

WHOMP WHOMP.
Been awhile since I've updated this thing. o_o Sorry about that!
And the title is a little deceptive. I'll be at A-Kon, but only for Friday to see some awesome people that I don't get to see that are coming from out of town. ^_^ Let me know if you wanna hang out too!
I'm still at a loss as to what I'll be wearing. Nia is almost done, but I'm gonna wait until San Japan for that. My other options are Luffy, Zoey, Motoko, Rei (high school of the dead), Robin (Batman), or just wearing a random wig... If anyone has anything they want to see let me know? xD
BUT, I will only be there probably from noonish/oneish - 6 or 7. If even that long. Just letting you know. (I'm honestly only going to see friends and the like.

)

Then Saturday is my 23rd birthday! Gonna go with some friends to a water park and enjoy the fun splish splash times. :3 I'm so excited! The whole day is just gonna be a big bag of awesome times with awesome people.

Sunday I'm not sure if there's finalized plans or what not. but the bag of awesome times will spill out again and I'm excited. (It's also Chloe's birthday, so expect a lot of birthday wishes from meeeee, birthday buuuuuuddy!)

As for what's been going on since my last update? A WHOLE LOT, but it's all good. ;D Won't delve into my personal life here, tis just not the place. But anyway, I'm going to try to afford to get myself out to San Japan, because I want to wear Nia and a few other costumes. And then Afest is after that, which I will always go to. Haven't gotten a finalized list for that either, but expect a lot of new stuff. *3* A LOT.

That's about it on my end. If I end up wearing Motoko to A-Kon maybe I'll finally upload a picture of the finished costume. Sadly, I doubt anyone will ever see Terrence. I don't know when I'll ever get to wear it again.
