How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Anime Expo, here we come!

Mood: Sweet

A few of my friends and I have been trying to work out what con to go to next summer. There's quite a few problems hindering us going to A-Kon. For instance, my brothers wedding is the Friday of A-Kon, a friends wedding is on Saturday, and then Sunday is the graduation of some of my high school Freshman buds. XD; So A-Kon is pretty much a no go for us... Other personal reasons of mine... not included.

So I made up this chart so we could try and figure out where to go. After wanting desperately to go to practically any of the cons in Cali, I'm happy that we're most likely going to AX. As much as I would love to go to ComicCon (Man do I ever want to go to Comic Con... XD;;; -sigh- ) It's just not working out with Katy's (one of my friends) plans. She has that Friday of AX off, meaning if she could take off the Thursday, then we'd be able to drive up there Wednesday afternoon when she gets out of her class. Then just fly back on that Sunday night, then me and Shaina could drive back with everything.

That's IF Shaina is still living in Texas. If she is living in Cali, I don't know what I'll do, I'm not about to make the drive from Cali to Texas by myself. No sir/ma'am. XD;

So, we're still figuring out a few of the kinks and such.

And I'm also trying to figure out Afest stuff... Like where to stay Thursday night... though I might have an option... maybe...

But here's my cosplay plan list... pretty much

Friday afternoon: Gojyo... most likely
Friday Night: Seras, for the shoot and such...
Saturday afternoon: Kurama for the shoot and fun stuffs.
Saturday Night: Tidus for the contest.
