How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Animefest 2008

Mood: Euphoric

It was sooooo fun! I'm so glad I got to hang out with everyone at this con. Seriously, I think this is one of the only cons I've been too where I've gotten to spend more then 5 seconds with some of my friends. I really think I got to hang out with pretty much all my friends which makes me incredibly happy.

Usually I'm too busy at cons to actually enjoy myself with friends, with the exception of they peoples I'm rooming with. So I was extremely pleased to spend time with you guys. That's what makes cons for me, never the con itself (usually) but the actual people there and the friends.

More to come. But here's a bit of what happened.

Saturday night was the actually costume contest, we entered FFX (DCC did. :3 ) We didn't win anything, but hearing the people cheer is always fun. ^^ It's really my favorite part of any competition hearing the people cheer for you and figuring out poses and such. :3 We might not have gotten anything, but a lot of our friends got judges awards! So congrats to them!

Sunday was the skit contest. It. Was. Epic. Me and

had WAY too much fun being the twins. Here's a little peek at the two of us (this was after we did our skit) [link]
Oh geez, it was amazing. We got TWO standing ovations! (So I've heard anyway) TWO! I've never gotten ONE! I was just like... WOW! Hopefully the skits will get put up soon enough. Ours was the Ouran skit (With the entire cast).
Also, watch Twinziks and a few other skits that were really awesome. X3
